Foursquare Church Australia is an evangelical and Pentecostal movement founded by Evangelist F.B. Van Eyk and song leader A.E. Barton through a series of revival meetings and the opening of a church in Cessnock NSW.
Our identity is built upon the unchanging ministry of Jesus Christ and the belief that His gospel is for every culture, community, and generation.

The Foursquare Gospel
The name Foursquare reflects the fourfold ministry of Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture: Saviour, Baptiser with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon Coming King.
These four biblical truths shape our theology, mission, and everyday ministry.
Our Story
The Foursquare movement has been active in Australia for more than 90 years, with early missionary work beginning in 1929 and churches growing across cities, regional towns, and multicultural communities.
Today, Australian Foursquare churches continue to build on this legacy through worship, discipleship, leadership development, and global mission partnerships.
Our Global Movement
Foursquare Church Australia is part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel Worldwide, the Foursquare Church includes more than 67,000 congregations and over 8 million members across 150+ nations.
